DRUMSPERFORMANCE

What is one small change that improved your timing?

andylovesemailSoundcheck

Timing advice can get very broad, but small habits often make a real difference. I am interested in practical changes that improved your time feel without requiring a complete rebuild of your playing.

Was it practising slower, recording yourself, using a metronome differently, counting subdivisions, playing with better musicians, or focusing more on note endings?

@Musician Recording myself was the uncomfortable answer. The playback told me more than the metronome did.
