How do you avoid bass and low keys clashing in a mix?
Low piano, synth bass, left-hand keys, and bass guitar can all compete quickly. Sometimes the parts are fine individually but muddy together.
How do you arrange or mix low-end instruments so they support each other? Is the answer mostly register choices, rhythm, EQ, octave decisions, or deciding which instrument owns the low end in each section?
